Printing Services

The Conns Photolab (introduced in 1990) offers a high quality and cost effective range of services including developing, printing and scanning for film, digital or print reproduction. With top-of-the range machinery from Fuji and Epson we can cover all your needs from postcard size prints in the hour up to 40" canvases stretched onto custom-made wooden frames. For convenience images can be sent to the lab by email or via FujiPix Online Printing and then either posted out or collected from our city-centre location.

Please Note: Standard turnaround is 1 week. Wood frame thickness of 44mm or 22mm available. Prints are not wrapped around the edge of the frame as standard, but this is available on request.

APS (Advanced Photo System) Reprints

Please Note: Reprints from APS films are generally priced the same as 35mm Reprints.

• 'C' (Classic) size on APS are the same as 6"x4" on 35mm.
• 'H' size on APS (7"x4") are the same price as 7"x5" reprints on 35mm.

Scanned slides are 3600x2400 pixels - equivalent to a 12"x8" print @ 300dpi (suitable for printing up to that size). Photoshop manipulation & minor restoration available on request, but may be subject to exra charges. Prints are produced on Glossy paper as standard, Matt finish available on request. Colour or B&W pictures can be printed as true B&W or Sepia-toned photographs.

Scanning Negatives or Slides to CD

• Standard Resolution: 3600x2400 pixels - equivalent to a 12"x8" print @ 300dpi (suitable for printing up to at least that size)
• Premium Resolution: 5400x3600 pixels - equivalent to a 18"x12" print @ 300dpi (suitable for printing up to at least that size)

Film / Video Transfers

Through a combination of high-end equipment on-site and relationships with specialist firms across Dublin we can offer a wide range of transfer services to covert film, tape and disc based video between different formats and media.

Cine Film Transfer

Please note: Footage will be transfered to DVD in a specific order only if that order is clearly outlined beforehand

Tape Transfer (PAL)

Tape Transfer (NTSC)

• 4 hours per DVD at standard quality
